Der Tryggevælde Å ist ein kleiner Bach auf Stevns im südöstliche Sjælland. Er entspringt im Ulse Sø bei Bregentved Gods (Schloß)/ Haslev. In den "alten" Zeiten war es ein Fjord und noch in der Wikingerzeit ein Handelzentrum. Man hat lange Kanus - gehauen aus einem Stamm - gefunden. Eine besondere Art von Bekanntschaft erreichte der Tryggevælde Å im Juli 2002 als "Det Danske Spritfabriker" innerhalb weniger Tage 35000 Liter Gammel Dansk und 5000 Liter Whisky im Bach "entsorgten". Das Gebiet auf beiden Seiten Bachs ist geschützt. Im Frühjahr/Frühsommer ist der Bach ab km 10,7 ruderbar, später im Jahr ist er verkrautet und führt wenig Wasser.

Rechts nach Varpelev, links nach Ammerup (Hårlev), Rastplatz mit Informationstafael auf der rechten Seite, Einsatzmöglichkeit (aber Gummistiefel o.ä). Etwas nördlich von der Brücke hat man Anfang der 70er das 14m lange Stammboot "Varpelev Egen" gefunden. Es ist das größte Boot seiner Art in Europa aus dem Bronzealter.
