Die Kilometerangaben geben nur die direkte Entfernung an, da durch den Tidenhub von maximal 1,5m Teile des Gebietes bei Ebbe trockengelgt sind. Die Befahrung erfordert örtliche Kenntnis bei gleichzeitiger Beachtung des Tidenkalenders. Es gibt ausserdem Begrenzungen durch den Naturschutz.
